Bill BreMiller, MPT, CSMT

Bill BreMillerBill graduated from Millbrook High School in 1974.  He then received a B.S. degree in 1978 in Wildlife Biology from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.  After completing coursework for an M.S. degree in Biology, Bill was accepted in the U.S. Army/Baylor University Masters Program in Physical Therapy and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.  In 1981, he received his Masters and was assigned to Fort Dix, NJ as a Physical Therapist.  Bill worked extensively with the U.S. Army athletic teams and was involved in pain management research while in the army.  After leaving Fort Dix as a Captain in 1984, Bill became Clinical Director at the Western Pennsylvania Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Johnstown, PA.  In 1985, He became Director of the Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy Center in Torrington, CT.  Bill currently is Director of M.O.S.T.

Throughout these experiences, Bill has given numerous lectures to physicians and other physical therapists regarding pain management, the physical therapy treatment of headaches, and sports injury rehabilitation.  During the past several years, Bill has had the opportunity to treat several world-class and professional athletes, and has published articles in professional journals on athletic medicine and the treatment of headaches.  Bill is continuing his military career as a Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserves.

In addition to being licensed to practice Physical Therapy in CT and NY, Bill is a Certified Sports Medicine Trainer (CSMT), a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a member of the American Athletic Trainers Association.  He personally understands the special needs of the athlete, as he was a collegiate scholarship athlete and competitive weight lifter and body builder.

John Roger, PT, DPT

John RogerJohn Roger is a local graduate of John Jay High School in East Fishkill, NY. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He received his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia.  While at Temple, John conducted and published research in the journal “Physiotherapy Research International”. In 2005, John Roger received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University.

John Roger joined M.O.S.T. in 2003. He has since treated many different patients with an emphasis on manual therapy techniques and sports therapy. John has also been active in the community by coaching adult rowing programs on the Hudson River and developing injury prevention programs for the masters rowing team.

Keith Bailey, MSPT

Keith BaileyKeith joined M.O.S.T. following three years of practice in outpatient orthopedic clinics in Delaware County. He began as a staff therapist and eventually opened and ran a satellite clinic for his previous employer.

Originally from Newfane, NY, in northern Niagara County, Keith earned his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo in 2002.  Keith was a founding member of his college’s varsity baseball team and enjoyed competing at the NCAA Division III level.  He still holds several school records in both pitching and batting.

His experience is primarily in outpatient orthopedics, but he has also had experience in inpatient and homecare.  He enjoys working with people and creating programs that help each person reach their maximum recovery.  Keith has participated in continuing education for the shoulder, back, closed chain exercising, hand, wrist, and elbow complex.  He looks forward to attending more courses and advancing his knowledge in his specialty areas including the back, shoulder, and knees.

Chris Dayger, PT, ATC

Chris DaygerChris Dayger is a native of Wappingers Falls and now lives in Poughkeepsie. He spent a number of years in the Midwest where he earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University Of Minnesota in 1991 and returned in 1996 to obtain his Certification in Athletic Training. During that time he had the opportunity to work with top Division One athletes from many sports. He also gained valuable experience working in a clinic specializing in treating chronic back and neck pain. In 1998 he went on to pursue his Masters in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.

Chris moved back to Dutchess County in 2004 where he has continued to advance his skills by taking continuing education classes pertaining to current rehabilitation concepts for the post surgical spine as well as the biomechanics of proper walking, running, and throwing. These concepts prove useful in treating many of the injuries we see in our clinic. In addition, Chris has developed an interest and expertise in treating injured youth that require rehabilitation and training to safely return to prior function and activity levels.

Chris is an avid outdoor enthusiast and triathlete enjoying cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing, and skiing. Since 1991, Chris has volunteered his skills as a member of the National Ski Patrol providing emergency care and evacuation of injured skiers. He has had the opportunity to evaluate and treat injuries from the initial injury to the rehabilitation phase. This background has given Chris the skills to compassionately help all clients overcome injuries that interfere with their quality of life.

Michelle Hurley, PT

Michelle HurleyMichele graduated in 1997 from Daemen College located in Amherst, New York.  She received a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy and a minor in Biology with Academic Honors.  During her senior year, Michele worked on a research project focusing on the knowledge and effectiveness of neuromobilization

Before coming to M.O.S.T., Michele worked for a health system located in Rochester, NY.  She then married and moved to the Hudson Valley.  While in Poughkeepsie, Michele’s experience has been mainly in outpatient clinics.  Also, Michele has been clinical supervisor for many students from different physical therapy programs since 1999.  She has had the opportunity to take several continuing education courses focusing in manual therapy techniques.

In her spare time, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and her dog.  They enjoy taking walks, boating, and traveling to see extended family in upstate New York.  She has also coached CYO basketball and soccer.

Janet Miller, PT

Janet MillerA graduate from Quinnipiac College in 1982, Janet has enjoyed practicing Physical Therapy in New York State in the acute, sub-acute, and outpatient settings.  Whereas the concentration of her post-graduate education and practice has been in the area of orthopedic/outpatient rehab, Janet's work experience also includes clinical director and supervisory positions in the hospital setting.  Janet has studied and maintained an interest in the expanding field of aquatic therapy for children and adults.  She has enjoyed the opportunity of noting the remarkable benefits of water for a vast number of medical conditions, as well as it's usefulness in post-operative rehab. In addition to the adult population, Janet has experience in providing physical therapy services to children in the school-based setting with a particular interest in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Janet is currently studying with Western Psychological Services for her certification in Sensory Integration.

Christine Mowbray, PTA

Christine MowbrayChristine comes to MOST as a 2008 graduate of Orange County Community College in Middletown NY, where she received an Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.  While enrolled at OCCC, Christine maintained Deans List standings and upon graduation was a recipient of the Orange County Community College Certificate of Merit for “Outstanding Scholastic Achievement”. She was also honored within the PTA program for her “Academic Excellence” and was one of only two students chosen from her program to do a six-week inpatient clinical affiliation at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY.  Her school and work experience includes both outpatient offices and inpatient rehabilitation, and she has specific experience working with spinal cord injuries, amputees, and the geriatric population in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Before settling on a career in physical therapy, Christine studied Psychology and English and held various jobs in service-orientated professions.  She has had an ongoing interest in physical and mental health with an emphasis on nutritional and complementary medicine.   She enjoys the field of physical therapy because it allows her to work closely with people as she helps them reach their functional goals. Her interests include outdoor activities such as hiking and camping, cooking, music, and spending time with her husband, Dave, and their three children.

Ginny Billups, Physical Therapy Aide

Ginny Billups

Ginny began at M.O.S.T. in 2001, and since then has worked as a physical therapy aide to the clinical staff.  Her primary role is to assist in rehabilitative care and supervise patients performing their exercises.  She also helps to facilitate efficient running of the clinic by making sure that supplies and materials are available as needed.  She and her husband raised their family in the Millbrook area.
