Athletic Training

Helping Local Athletes

MOST's Outreach Program is centered around making sure local high school athletes can receive timely care, keeping them healthy on and off the field. The program provides certified athletic trainers (ATC) to cover games. The ATC is responsible for attending games and administering first aid treatment to injured athletes.

The ATC also works with athletes to help them recover from their injuries, and can refer the student athlete to a physician or specialist for further care or testing, if necessary. MOST physical therapists work closely with the ATCs to get the injured athletes back to competing in a timely, safe manner.
